I use 3.1 VisionFS with XP, but I have it autheticating against a Win2K domain controller. It will NOT work on a Win2K3 DC, but it works very well on the Win2K. I do not use 98 or 95 so I don't know how they will do.
I apologize for my lack of clarity. Incoming lines only ring at the Reception desk. I want one of the other desksets in the office to ring as well and to be able to pick up the line when the receptionist is away from her desk. How do I do that?
Have you changed your terminal type or TERMCAP entries? Check out that to see if that change is what is casuing the garbage. Like, the upgrade changed termcap entries and it is cobbling the output.

When you do pass-thru printing, the Escape Sequences or Pass-Thru codes must be consistent. For example, if you originally had your Ice.TCP set up as a VT100 terminal and then changed to Wyse50, this could affect the codes being sent. I would check and see what codes are being sent by the app...

REGEDIT4
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanWorkStation\parameters]...
Please Be more specific as to your need. Exactly what is it you are attempting to do? XC is a terminal program, but if you just need to send a file, that semes to be an odd way about it.
netconfig will help you configure the network.
visionfs came with the product and is a SAMBA-like product you can use for SMB or CIFS services.
SAMBA is available if prefer it to visionfs.
