Anyone have an idea why?
Windows 2k server.
Windows xp client.
every day, at seemingly a random time and for no apparent reason, just kicks off all clients, forcing a reboot/relogin.
Any Ideas?
When installing sp6a, the install goes nicely until it gets to 100%. it then tells me that the account i'm using (the administrator account) does not have sufficient rights to enumerate something or other, or that the password is incorrect. Anyone seen this? know how I can fix it?

I have a new customer who lost nwadmin and all DLL's. any one know how i can reinstall nwadmin and dll's without redoing the server?
If now, is it possible to reinstall server without killing all data on the novell volumes? and to reclaim them as novell volumes after reinstall? Customer does...
in exchange 5.5 is there a way to set up a "default" email account? that is, if the email address doesn't actually exist on the domain, to send it to a specific account that DOES exist?
and if so, is there a way to change this once it has been set up?

got the answer thanks to Robert. (kudos, robert)
in network and dial up settings, select advanced from the menu, then advanced propererties. move the internal lan up in the ensuing dialog.
then make sure you're not trying to register your connection with the dns settings. this did the trick...
I have a windows 2000 webserver, with 2 nics. One is inside our firewall, and should log into our DC (also 2k)and map network drives. the other is outside our firewall, and should use only our ISP's DNS and should not even look for our domain. When i start the server, it takes forever to boot...
I am running a windows 2000 pdc and bdc. My older servers, including the backup server are running windows NT4.0 sp6a. I would like to be able to replicate directories with my nt4 server and my bdc. Is this possible? I have installed the dfs client for nt4, but it tells me the file replication...
Win2k pdc and bdc, active directory running. For some reason, I cannot log on to the bdc except as administrator. If I sign into the domain from a workstation, I can access resources on the pdc, but not the bdc. Any ideas?
