I've got an laptop running xp pro and the icons on the desktop reload whenever you click on an icon or try to open programs, normally I reload the O.S but in this case that isn't an option. Has any one seen this before, or herd of a fix for this?

Chopsy I went to HKLM/software/microsoft in the registry but I am not seeing the MSLicensing key.

I'm trying to troubleshoot a remote desktop connection from a xp machine trying to connect to a win2k server errors include: the client could not connect to the remote computer remote connections might not be enabled or server might be to busy to accept new connections also a licencing error...

I am working on an xp machine that could previously access a win2k server using remote desktop connection now it can't connect and returns either, remote desktop connection could not connect or licencing protocol error. Need a solution or some direction, can any one help.
