Thanks for replying Bill.... but I have seen that Language trick and Lan Setting trick elsewhere, neither have helped. I even tried changing my default language to Russian. That didn't help either. Still jumped from 0% to 100% (that was the only thing that I could understand on the page, :) )...

One more thing. I tried this backdoor link http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp?corporate=true And eventhough it shows 11 Critical Updates, I cannot place any of them into the download basket, nor does it show any for me to select.

What do you do if this still doesn't work? My problem is that the windows update site hangs after I start the scan, and then reports 100% and no updates, eventhough my last update was over a month ago. I am currently trying SYAR2003 advice, but the same hanging is taking place. At least this...
