I can boot into any mode using 2GB of RAM.

I can't boot into safe mode either. I also tried booting off of the Vista DVD to attempt a repair and this does not work either.

It always had the 4 GB of RAM. I tried swapping out sticks of RAM and it doesn't matter what the configuration is. I tried running the diagnostics from the BIOS and it didn't return any errors. I only have two memory sticks so removing one at a time is the only test that I can perform.
