I am trying to figure out what voltages are on a T1 circuit coming from tel.co.'s smart jack. I need to put surge protection on the circuit before it gets to the IAD/channel bank. Basically I need to now the approximate clamping voltage required.

I have a Partner Mail VS R4 that won't boot up after a power failure. It seems to have the classic symptoms of a toasted hard drive. I have a replacement hard drive for a PMVS R5 which I purchased as a backup. Now comes the big question--are they compatible??

I am experiencing the same problem. I have been getting some bad R7's as well. I have had 3 or 4 of these so far with bad ports right out of the box which is very unusual.

Thanks for the info. I have one thats been acting up and doesn't want to come up on a reboot very easily. It sometimes takes several attempts to come up after a power interruption. I wanted to rule the slot config out as a possibility.
