PHV and BNPMike,
I turned on cascading deletes and can now delete records from the datasheet view. My delete query still doesn't work though.
It's strange, because I made a copy of the ComputerInfo table and was able to successfully run the delete query against it.
I don't know squat about...
I am trying to run a delete query in a database with 34 tables. 33 tables relate back to the main table which also contains the only primary key in the database.
I created a query to delete records from the main table (Let's call it 'ComputerInfo') but I get the error "Could not delete from...
Until recently I only managed one email domain and used the default recipient policy. I have been asked to create a second email domain for a remote office. 10 of our employees are at this location and I have placed them in their own OU.
My objective is for my local users to have their existing...
btnet,
I know you've resolved your own problem but if you have a moment would you consider a problem I'm having with recipient policies.
Until recently I only managed one email domain and used the default recipient policy. I have been asked to create a second email domain for a remote office...
I am running Exchange 2000 with the latest service packs.
I am having trouble receiving email from 1 domain and only under certain circumstances. The scenario is as follows:

jonwilbanks,
I have the same issue.
Currently, I have a script that calls on a program to scan the users computer (inventory). The program runs but it does not catch critical data due to the fact that the user does not have administrative privileges to the local machine.
If I run the same...

Is is necessary to have an MX record in DNS and if so, do I create another domain or another zone.
Also, other...

I have 15 identical databases in 15 cites (structure is the same, obviously the data is different).
I need to import the data from each one of these databases into one master database...
dholbrook,
That's good advice. I will try that for my desktop users. I can't do that however, with my laptop users since they travel so much. Unless you feel that offline folders would be more efficient? What say you?
Deik313,
I'm 99% sure your roaming profile load time is not related to your ISDN config.
I too have roaming profiles for a network of about 50 users. We did this to insure that a copy of the users 'My Documents' directory and 'Desktop' resided on the file server. Essentially we made it a no...

The program work great but fails to retrieve BIOS information from the client PC when the user is in the Power Users group or in a lower priviledged group.
If the user is a local machine...
Thanks John!
The Cross-Tab query did the trick. My solution was actually more simple than the thread you refered me to but that definitely pointed me in the right direction.
Thanks for the tip!
For anybody that may be interested, I did the following:
I created a cross-tab query against the...
