This works --- [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Security] "Level1Remove"=".exe;.com;.url;.bat" --- Add any other extensions you also want access too.- tasumi

Word 2000 Shuts down after type Dear (name) ,
The problem may not relate to Word but to a adware blocker. I have tweeak xp pop up blocker installed on my pc and as I type certain addresses it closes the window as I get to the .com eg www.whitepages.com.au it would close the window as I type the m on the com. This may not be your answer...- tasumi
