Thank you all for your time & trouble,it's greatly appreciated. Al you hit it right on the head about the wall winning, I installed an old Mitsumi and it only took about 10 min. and I once again had a working cd-rom. <br>I believe there was something wrong with the cr-563. I know it...- tarowcjd

Matsushita CR-563 CD-ROM Drivers in Config.sys & Autoexec.bat
I have a Sound Blaster CD-ROM (CR-563),& am using Win95. I can't seem to get my Config.sys & Autoexec.bat files setup with either; 1.) the correct drivers or 2.) everything in the proper order or 3.) both 1 & 2.
