Premier 6 Dropped frames
This may help. When I use Premier 6 I find that I get a variety of unpredictable problems in capturing when I identify my capture device as Sony PC110. However, it seems to work fine when I identify it as Sony generic.- talley2

Recommendations for Data Storage to Build a Large Video
I have a Sony PC-110 camcorder (uses 1 hour mini-DV tapes) and a Mac G3 with 40G hard drive and an attached 1G Jaz drive. I am building a film from 5 Mini DV casssettes.
