i've got a broadband connection, so downloading 100mb+ isn't a problem for me right now.
if you'd read my original messages, you'd know that i wanted the full service pack because i'm going to be spending considerable time abroad, and the only connection i will have is an intermittent...

yes, i was suspecting that might be the answer. so to confirm - if i delete previous incarnations of this folder, and install IE5.5 SP2 via Windows Update, the complete setup files will be contained in that folder?
