MDE Errors
Check your code. In a VB window pick Debug, Compile ... That should tell you if there are errors.- tabegona

Thanks for your reply. Yes I have and I get the same error. I also tried a utility from Microsoft called jetcomp.exe but the program didn't work right. What I am trying now is creating another database to see if I can open the other with VBA and either import or loop through the database...- tabegona

I was correcting a function to control the return of a null value when Access started locking up. I tried about 4 times and each time got the same. The database is split.
