thanks for your replay my computer is an IBM THINKPAD T21 with 512MB memory and P3 800 MHZ. this problem is not associated to the provider.- swiftil

getting message TAPISRV (NOT RESPONDING) when using ADSL
i'm using WIN98SE. i used to connect to the internet via dial up modem with no problem. i got ADSL now and after connecting and surfing for a few minutes the computer get stuck and freeze. after pressing control+alt+del i see in the box that TAPISRV not responding. how can i fix the problem...- swiftil
