Check if you have primary key for every table. If not, you are not able to insert / update that table.

I had this problem if 2 users were logged to the same .adp file. Now I have it like you - some copies of .adp file connected to one SQL server database and it works with no problem.

Is your .adp used by a single user or multiple users?

In Office 2000 you have "Stored Procedures" and "Views" separated in 2 items in the menu. In Office 2003 are both in the menu "Query". There are both choices - to create a stored procedure and to create a view. There's no other difference, it works the same way.

i think it's not possible to prompt in a view, but it's possible in a stored procedure. Create Procedure nameOfStoredProcedure @enter_id float AS SELECT * FROM table WHERE id = @enter_id;

I've sorted data in a subform by a column (date). When I try to overwrite the date, the sort disappears and the data are unsorted. It happens everytime I try to overwrite data in a column that is used for sorting. How can I keep the sort order and editing the data in the same time?
