    PAGING-Code Calling

Thanks 4mer. I did have that info, but it sure is vague. Any idea what the interpretation is for it? Thoughts were running along the line of us needing a Tone Board of some sort, but I don't believe that to be the case.

    PAGING-Code Calling

System is a CM 5.2.1 - currently have overhead paging in use through the standard Paging Loudspeaker. Attempting to add a TAC for Code Calling and establish 1 ID for Code Calling to sound a tone every night at 8:30. I've input the TAC, and when it is dialed, it returns dial tone to enter the...

    Obscene Caller

Yes, but not sure how to get the ISDN Notification to work. Was going to setup a recorder trunk group, tape the calls, and also use the ISDN Notification, but can't seem to get that field un-grayed out.

    Obscene Caller

We have an obscene caller calling in with a blocked number. I have successfully blocked callers using EC500 and station mapping of those who displayed their number, but this on has me puzzled. How can I force callers to unblock caller id without going through telco at this point. Any ideas?

    QSIG AND H.100

Having an issue with QSIG Signalling, call into the vendors system, it does the screen pop and all station information is seen. Transfer to another station and you see, CALL FROM 2200, not PARTYS, NAME 2200 as you would on a station to station call or attendant transferred call. Then the...

    Prologix Processor Cable

Found a great thread where BuckWheet perfectly outlined the same problem I have: thread690-415874 Did anyone ever come up with the pinouts and the jumpering on the pinouts for this cable? I noticed in the Avaya pinouts that there are several pins not defined and was wondering if anyone...

    SMDR Serial Information

I want to get rid of our buffer box but the Infortel Support people are still telling me that I need to upgrade the buffer box to collect the info via TCP/IP and buffer it. We have tenants that we charge for usage, so we really don't want to lose any data, data=revenue. We purchased the...

TN packs that are no longer supported

I'm discussing with our vendor that they ARE supported, as the document says on page 284, but if you look at the matrix that is in the document, it does not have an X under the 8700 series server meaning it is not supported?

    Call Progress tones when forwarding.

Still fighting this issue, when a station call forwards to an external number the person calling the forwarding number hears silence until the forwarded destination answers? What setting am I missing on these PRI's?

    Call Progress tones when forwarding.

You're on the right track, I did some testing yesterday, and when my cellphone goes to voicemail, I begin to get the ringback. I played around with the routes, and that didn't seem to make a difference. There were some field there that specified "service type" such as SDN, and such, but that...

    Call Progress tones when forwarding.

G3r Version 9 When call forwarding out of the phone system to an outside number, cell phone for instance, the person dialing the forwarded number does not hear any ringing, it is just silence until the phone is answered either by voicemail of the cellphone or the person. We have ISDN,thought...
