    Once connected to your remote desktop open up notepad and paste this into notepad without the quote's "SHUTDOWN -r -t 01" and then save it as restart.bat on your desktop. Whenever you want to reboot just double click this batch file and it should reboot the PC.

    I think you can do it with group policy on the local machine. Go to Start, then Run and type in gpedit.msc, you can set a group policy on the local machine itself without it being in a domain.

    What web browser are you using to to connect to tsweb? tsweb requires Active X to be enabled. I know there is problems when using IE7 to connect. IE6 works fine.

    I don't know where the policy is located off the top of my head, I am sure someone else might know, but a quick fix you can do is to right click on the task bar and click on properties then click the Start Menu Tab and click the customize button and un check the box that says Display Run.
