    yes in tcp/ip settings and i have the default gateway set but dont know the dns settings

    yes ip config works but it defalts to a 255.255.0.0 mask and my network is on a 255.255.255.0 mask, so i set a static ip and i can ping all the other computers fine but the intenet still doesnt work i assume because of dns

    i have a server at home for internet and file sharing im running win2k server on it. its worked fine for a couple of months but now i get this error mesage when i try to open active directory users and computers "the server is not operational" and i cant access anything id like to know...
