I have been searching for and studying books on c++ and c for several years and it is with great dissapointment that I must report that I have only been able to find about three books which I deem suitable for beginners or users of high level languages, of those books...
I know the basics of writing programmes for dos and wish to write my first windows programe but I can't find any documentation on the subject.
Can anyone suply me with the Format, Structure and Examples that I require to go beyond the basics of designing dos programmes using IOstream and as such.

I have Borland C++ Version 4.0 and I wish to learn more than just how to print some text onto the screen or recieve input from a user.
That Tprinter class would be a good start if you have the parameters for it (my help file isn't so helpfull).

My XP pro NTFS lock's up during boot, i think that i need a boot disk that will allow me to access NTFS file system so i can alter the msconfig to stop it from loading the drivers. Can anyone help....?
