Very Rare problem while login to AIX (RS6000) machine

I'm assuming that as you can't login from the console you can't login from a telnet session either. It could be that you have simply run out of disk space. (\ is full) You'll need to get some media to boot from I'm affraid. Do you have a mksysb tape?

problems with shell 32 to 64 bits

msplaza My appologies, I should have read your question a little better. This link should answer all your questions: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=aix12465b658044fc574852569e70056e923

    Can't find error code "0c45"

I don't think there is such an error. If you have tried to reboot and can't it could be: c45 Cannot configure the console. Alternatively, your system has crashed and tried to dump memory, however the dump space on your disk is not large enough to store the complete dump. 0c4 Partial dump, not...

problems with shell 32 to 64 bits

The choice of whether you use a 64-bit or 32-bit kernel is made when you install the operating system. You cannot simply load a fileset. If you wish to change your system from a 32 to 64 bit kernel will will have to re-install the O/S I'm affraid.

    Problem with ICMP Datagrams!!!

This is a guess! Is the system configured to use DNS? (/etc/resolve.conf) If so, check /etc/netsvc.conf look for the search order, it should read: hosts = local , bind not the other way round.

    7043-140 43P boot problem

I don't think you are booting from the CDROM. Have you changed the boot sequence to boot from the CDROM? If you have and are sure that you are booting from the CD, try removing the graphics adapter.

    NIM problem

What size disk(s) are installed in the client? It could be that the mksysb image you are trying to restore is too large for the disk(s) selected for the restore. More commonly, the mksysb image is from a system who's rootvg is mirrored on two disks. The system you are restoring to only has a...

    Restricted Pine Shell

You need to create a script to run what the user needs and make the last line of the script /usr/bin/pine and substitute that for the shell as before. You may want to add a line to disable ctrl-c while the script runs.
