I'm new to IP Office systems so please bear with me!
I'm setting up an IP Office 500 (version 7.0) system for my church who currently has a Partner ACS R3.0 system. The reason for the upgrade is not because I feel like pulling my hair out but because we have another building that needs...
I ended up fixing the issue. It ended up being with the remote router. I guess I was too stubborn to even think the problem was on that end because it was working fine. Once I looked at the config, I relized I wasn't using a route-map I was just nat'ing with an access-list. Once I put a route...
Hi burtsbees,
I understand that. As I said, the remote router (the VPN server if you will) works fine as I can connect to it via VPN just fine when I put the client directly on the internet without the Cisco router on the client side. The reason I posted the router config of the router on the...
Hi unclerico,
Here is the sanitized config of the router I'm trying to connect through...I haven't tried a crypto debug because I know it works when I put the client directly on the internet. That's why I think there is a problem with the config below.
Thanks for your help!

Hi All -
I am having a problem connecting to a VPN network with the Cisco VPN client through a Cisco router running NAT, IOS Firewall, and also DMVPN to another completely separate network. The client just sits there and says the remote VPN has stopped responding or something like that. If I...
Yes, the PCs are on the same switch (the 3550). It always does seem to be the same ones. However, it seems to be IP address related. The ones it happens to have higher numbered DHCP leases. The ones that still work are lower. I can't really prove this though because if I static out the IP with a...
Thanks for the response, North323. My internet pipe is 20/5 so I have plenty of bandwidth. The VPN tunnel is only to my office. Internet traffic does not flow through it. I just confirmed that to be sure by going to whatismyip.com. I didn't get my office IP. I got a Verizon IP which is correct...
Hi Everyone,
I have a problem that used to happen only occassionally that seems to be happening more often now. Whenver I download large files, I lose internet connectivity on a few machines. What is strange is don't lose connectivity on all machines. Just on a few of them. If I leave the...
OK, good that's what I thought. I tried applying some QoS (limiting the bandwidth port 445 for filesharing was taking) to the f0/1 port on the router that has the trunk sub-interfaces on it because I found out sub-interfaces only support some QoS features and applying it to the f0/1 port didn't...
Hi All -
I have a network with 4 VLANs. The switch is a 2950 and the router is a 2621. The router is doing DHCP, NAT, firewall, inter-VLAN routing, and it's a dynamic VPN endpoint. Everything works fine. However, when I copy a very large ISO (gigs in size) across the network to a different...
Hi Burt,
I added my other networks (5.x and 7.x) to ospf on my home router and voila! I can ping the other networks through my tunnel! Now if only I could browse via My Network Places. Any ideas on that?
Thanks again for all your help on this!
Steve
Hi Burt,
Yes, I can reach all the vlans from the 10.0.0.0 network at my house. I will give your suggestions a go this coming week. As for NAT'ing through the tunnel, I don't believe I am. I have an access-list that stops the NAT process for 10.0.8.0 and 10.0.5.0 before it reaches the tunnel...
