Is this QS or TS? Is the "default screen" really a panel that is included in or comprises the majority of the default screen set at the job code? If QS, check the script on your tender button. Is it chaining back to the panel you are calling the default screen after Close Check?

We are currently in the testing phase of upgrade from RES 5.2 to 5.5 and have noticed this does not work anymore. For an autosequence that runs a report, if set to preview, the report viewer opens but to a blank page. If set to print, nothing happens. 3700d says the autosequence step completed...
You are right. Thanks. I have reached out to my Micros rep to see how exactly they have dealt with this with other customers. As I said, I'm sure this happens all the time and keeps us POS admins up at night who like to keep things tidy. I'll post the results of that communication as hear back.
