We are wanting to implement NTP Time service on our network. I was able to set up a W2K server to pull the time from an external time source. Works great! Problem is, this server is not a domain controller, and my BDC's and PDC are all NT 4. On top of that, I have about 5 other servers that...
We have a mixed environment with about 40 NT servers and 2 Netware servers. We would like to start using Network Time Protocol, using a government site for pulling in the time onto a Netware server, and then have our NT (W2K)servers pull from the Novell server.

Hi Andrew,
We have had issues in the past where one of our vendors had made changes to their website, and we could no longer access it. Turns out that we had to upgrade our browsers to newer version of IE.
Happened here as well; whenever a certain user tried to logon to Citrix from his laptop the server would reboot. We looked at every setting but could not find out why this was happening.
We fixed it by having him stop logging on from that laptop.
Check your firmware version. That would definitely cause issues.

WebJetadmin needs to be installed initially on an NT/2000/XP, but after that you can access it from any workstation by going to the url. Once in there, you can upgrade the download and update the firmware for all printers easily and quickly. The only drawback I see on this new version is that...

We have been using Arcserve 2000 for about 8 months successfully. We are using a Quantum SuperDLT1, and have the latest patches. What kind of problems are you experiencing?
Sounds stupid, but I had the same problem last week on 2 different systems. The DLT tapes I had in the drives were both from Unix systems, and once I spit those out, my problems went away.
We had a similar issue where none of our details were being recorded in our database. Can't guarantee it will work, but it might...
Try making the following changes to your bti.cfg, (make backup copy first...)

We are currently using one Netware 6 SP2 server to back up our other Netware 6 SP2 server. We too have been through many quirks with Arcserve 7.
1.What OS do you have on the manager station?
2.What error code do you get?
Mark is right, SDLT drives are great. We just installed 2 new ones a few months ago and we have not had any problems with them. They are easy to set up and get going. We bought Compaq SDLT 110/220 GB. Sounds like your operation may not require that kind of space. We have been using DLT...
Server keeps abending since putting in the latest Winsock6 in Netware 6, SP2. Happens every time we use the Web Management tools. Someone from Novell said that it could be an Apache configuration issue... I have no clue where to begin!
Any help would be appreciated!
