Restarting the services would probably help. But then I prefer to clean up the mailbox (move to personal folder or something).
The user is not logged on at the time (this mostly happens when users are away on a holiday).
Normally when a mailbox is disabled because it exceeds it's limit, you can increase the limit and that's it.
For a while now, this doesn't work anymore on our server (Exchange 5.5 SP4). Actually it takes a day to recognise the adjusted limit. But as far as I now it should recognise this...
I started using Backup Exec this week and I had a similar problem the first time I started the program. It appeared that the "Backup Exec Naming Serice" was not started yet. After starting the service the problem was solved.
