    CD Rom not mounting

    Try this out. run "scsiha -r -p -t 1" where the controller ID=1. If you any device with ID=6 NARROW, then run "ioconfig -f /hw" which should create the device file for the detected hardware. Stop "mediad" and start the same. regards Srinivas Bandaru

    Thanks to everybody for their support. Finally we have achieved. We have replaced all Emulex LP982 HBA's with Qlogic QLA2340-CK. upgraded the firmware for all the qla cards and we go the good bandwidth of 100MB/s regards Srinivas Bandaru

    Hi What is the SystemPartition and OSLoadPartition devices? you can find out using "printenv" from prom monitor. and also type hinv to find out how many disks available. Determine which disk you wanted to load OS and set the OSLoadPartition and SystemPartition accordingly. Example...
