maximum size of string datatype
Need to know the maximum allowable size for a string literal. We will be concatenating query results seperated by a delimiter to a string. This may be very very large. What is the maximum size of the string datatype if any?- srcone

best way to send string over network
No I don't think we can reverse telnet to the Lantronix device. I have attempted to use netcat to send data across the network to the Lantronix ip address/port number. I guess what I am looking for is another method to send data to the Lantronix device, maybe a perl script or something like that. -
