Ring Group ~ Send to Original Voicemail ~ Nupoint

Well Lundah's advise did the trick. Just set the ring group to overflow to generic VM and set the associated extension in Nupoint and that did the trick. Dumps into 1216 VM box. Now he wants both extensions to blink and direct access the VM on 1216. Is there an easy way to "point" the...

Ring Group ~ Send to Original Voicemail ~ Nupoint

PERFECT! Thx a million! One more question. Is there anyway to label the Ring Group? That way when someone calls 1216, it forwards to 2126 (ring group), then it can display the original users name on the callers handset? Example, I call x1216 it shows "x1216 John Smith". I want to forward...

Ring Group ~ Send to Original Voicemail ~ Nupoint

I'm trying to setup a user on a ring group with two different offices. I can set the ring group up fine and add both the extensions (1216 and 1223). The problem is it overflows into generic voicemail (2500). I need it to dump directly into 1216 mailbox. Suggestions? Thx!

Advice on Network Running Low on IPs

I inherited a LAN that has a 192.0.0.x addressing scheme that is now running low on available IPs. We recently added about 70 Meru APs that just ate up my DHCP scope. What's the best way to subnet off of the 192.0.0.x network without having to change the whole address range? It would be such...

    Help with TCP/IP Port Printer

The only security on it is AVG, identical to the other machines. I can't get a connection in safe mode either. Come to think of it I think it does have an Nforce chipset (seen the NVidia icon in taskbar but integrated graphics) so that might be something to look into. Next time I'm in there...

    TCP/IP Printer Hookup with Vista

I setup a 4 PC lab here at work for our residents to use. I had a brand new EMachines computer and bought 3 new Dell PCs. All have Vista Home Premium. I also have a nice Lanier network printer. All 4 computers have been given the Vista net driver for the printer and configured using a TCP/IP...

8.3 Million Emails in 3 Weeks

That was what I'm thinking. I can get an upgraded Firebox MUCH cheaper than the Barracuda though, I'm just wondering if I can do the same recipient filtering with it. I plan on keeping GFI as I'm getting a 99.7% success rate with my spam, I just want the off-server device to do recipient...

8.3 Million Emails in 3 Weeks

Thats my problem though (and I have turned on Rec Filt and tar pit regedit). All these emails are being filtered on the exchange server and it can't handle the load. An Exchange Server shouldn't be able to handle 100,000 emails within a few minutes. My solution is to get the filtering...

8.3 Million Emails in 3 Weeks

So if I upgraded my Watchguard Firewall with its SpamBlocker I'm assuming I can do the same filtering correct?

8.3 Million Emails in 3 Weeks

I have. GFI is doing an excellent job of filtering out the crud, it's just when 15K emails hit my server in 2 minutes it clogs up exchange for like an hour. I need a way to offload the filtering from my Exchange box.

8.3 Million Emails in 3 Weeks

Ok, I'll start off by introducing my network. I run a few Server 03 boxes and one Exchange 03 box. I also have GFI MailEssentials 12 running on my Exchange box. My Firewall is a Watchguard X500. My network consists of about 85 users. The problem I'm having is with spammers bombarding my...

    Help with VPN Setup

Ok, so I brought the laptop back onto the network and had the same problem with ethernet. I could go online but nothing on the network would show. I unchecked the Deterministic Network Enhancer under TCP Props and everything is fine now. Why is this blocking me out and if it's necessary for...

    Help with VPN Setup

I have setup the VPN and I'm connected. I can ping inside my network but I can't see anything outside of my pings. I have DNS and WINS set correctly (I can ping by IP and Name). I can't browse the network though or connect using UNC paths. I added a static entry for my file server in the...

    Help with VPN Setup

I need to setup a MUVPN. Just need a couple of employees to access the network remotely with laptops. I'm completely new to the VPN world and I'm not sure where to start. I have a Watchguard X500 and I'm running a couple of Win2k3 Servers on my domain. Do I need to implement RAS on a server...
