HA Linux -Heartbeat
No sure if anyone has played around with heartbeat but... I was able to get heartbeat working over same subnet, but is there a solution to get it working with each node on a separate network?. layout.. have vip as 192.168.1.1.. apache server 1 192.168.1.2 apache server 2 172.16..0.1- spivy66

cisco vpn ssl help!
I have been banging my head against a wall on this one.. I setup a ssl vpn asa 6.4 and my remote user connects via cisco anywhere client, but when it connected the user loses internet and cannot ping anything not even on remote side. I did research and i tried nat acl , but i just can figure...- spivy66

Guys , I have a few users that when i plug their machines spanning tree (or i think its spanning tree) is putting the port in blocking state. when i turn on portfast it obviously works. I ran a debug all on the port and below is what i get . I have no idea why this is happening. its just a pc... -

I just tried adding login local, but i dont see it .. all i see is "login authentication default" and that did not work? -

Telcoguy, thanks for response . I was lazy of removing the hash. but i did add more numbers and letters in each of them for that reason. As for removing removing the aaa bits? I thought that is needed so i can login via telnet/ssh? I dont want to lock myself out -

I created a new user ( config below) that i want only priv level to be active on ssh login But when i ssh into box the user has 15 or 1. When i remove pri 15 in vty 0 15 then admin is asked for en password. how to i make it so when admin logs in it has 15 and when user jes logs in get 5... -

current setup 100mbps data line ip nw 1.1.1.1/27 ( for argument sake) very simple cisco 1800 provided by ISP Scenario: I'm getting a another 100mbps line for fail-over/ HA . the ISP is giving me 2.2.2.2/30 & 3.3.3.3/29 how do i attached a file in this post? -
