Email Excel as an attachment - with a Kick!

Well, I have done very little in Excel, so cut me some slack. ;-) I've never had to create a macro before, so thanks for pointing me in the right direction, Skip. I found this snippet of code on the Web and modified it and it works just like I need it to...

Email Excel as an attachment - with a Kick!

Well, here's my code and it works fine, except if I don't save the file, the changes made won't be included in the attachment. When you use File > Send to..., these changes ARE included in the attachment without saving, hence, my original request. Dim objol As Outlook.Application Dim objmail...

Email Excel as an attachment - with a Kick!

Well, is there a VBA command that will allow this? Maybe our users are just lazy (ya think?), but they just want to be able to click a hyperlink in the spreadsheet to open up a new Outlook mail message with the appropriate email address added and the file attached. Is there a way to...

Email Excel as an attachment - with a Kick!

OK, I know how to automate Outlook and send an Excel spreadsheet as an attachment, but I need it to behave like when you select "Send To" and then "Mail Recipient (As Attachment) from the File menu. In other words, send the spreadsheet with the changes to it, without actually saving the changes...

Looking for your advice on books

This isn't a review. I'm looking for your reviews. I am teaching myself Web design. I have gone through a book on HTML, am in the middle of a JavaScript book and am looking for a good CSS book. What I want is a book that is not just a reference guide, but one that has you type in examples...

    Strange Report Behavior

Just figured it out. There is also a logical field in the report table called Environ. Looks like it's set to T if the report is included in the exe and F if it is not. Even though I excluded the report in the project manager, this field still was still showing a T. Changed it to an F and...

    Strange Report Behavior

Thanks for the suggestion Mike, but I did mention in the second to last paragraph that I had already done this. It is printed in landscape, so I did add "ORIENTATION=1" after cleaning out the Expr field.

    Strange Report Behavior

After previously being able to print a report successfully from any work station, now, certain workstations are not able to print the same report. Here are the circumstances. I recompiled the executable this report is associated with, but did not change any code associated with calling this...

URGENT: Please help. Table won't open from exe

Olaf is correct. The error message is indicating a problem in your form named "form1", not a database table. I would re-evaluate the code changes you made in that form between the last compile that worked and the first one in which the error began to occur. Good luck, Steve

Make a report wider than landscape

That's it. Nothing too complex. I suppose creating a custom-sized report would work as well. SPayne

Make a report wider than landscape

Here is the solution. With the report open, select Page Setup from the File menu. From the Page Setup window select Print Setup. From here you can select the printer you want to send the report to as well as paper size and orientation, such as Legal Size and Landscape, which is what I used to...

Make a report wider than landscape

    Never mind. Figured it out.

Make a report wider than landscape

I need to create a report that's about 14" wide. Is there any way to do this?

    Are these .exe's spyware?

Thanks for the quick replies. Eyec, I just search MS for them with no results. RiazAhamed, I have been running most of those and other spyware over and over with limited success. I haven't tried it in safe mode yet, so I'll do that next. I am just a little concerned that if I disabled them...

    Are these .exe's spyware?

I am trying to clean up a machine running on Win XP home edition. In the startup tab of msconfig it shows certain executables that I can't identify. Googling gives me little or no information as well. Can anyone help me ID these files? javalu.exe * CLUSAPI9.exe sdkbx.exe d3pq32.exe *...
