    Chart sizing

Sorry - just re-read your post. If you re-size the chart and then set the font, it is still stretched as if you had set the size and then stretched. Thanks.

    Chart sizing

Thanks. Yes, stretching the chart and then setting the font to the right size is an option, but our problem is we have different charts in the same report which should be different sizes. We have to use four different font sizes to make the actual text the same size in each. To make matters...

    Chart sizing

Thanks for your response RobbieB. We are aware that font sizes can be set in this way, but the problem is that the font sizes are not abosolute (as we would expect) but seem relative to the size of the chart. So if you drop on a chart and set the axes labels (for example) to six point, and the...

    Chart sizing

Hi, We are using version XI of Crystal Reports. When we re-size charts in the designer to make them bigger, it seems to stretch all the components of the chart, including the data labels and titles. This makes it very difficult to make several charts consistent, since font size x will mean a...

Problems with report with dulpicated subreport

Thanks Madawc. This didn't work - I think the problem was the fact that it was the Visual Studio version of CR9, which I think is very limiting. We are now using the Developer Edition of XI and that has fixed the problem - we now insert the same sub-report three times and it's fine. Thanks again.

Problems with report with dulpicated subreport

Hello, We have a report with several sub-reports. We wish to re-use one of them three times within the report, displaying different data each time. We have each sub-report in it's own group on the main report, each with the formula 'whilereadingrecords; 1'. When we insert the duplicate...

lbass, Thanks very much. I think we are going to need to upgrade - we're going to try the evaluation version of the Developer Edition. Cheers, - Mark

Plotting second value over bar in bar chart

Hi, Thanks for your reply. We currently use a table with four columns: On change of: Day Show values: A, B, C There are no summary values - the table has five rows - one per day of the week. We want to show values A and B stacked in one bar, and C as a point (cross, circle or something)...

Plotting second value over bar in bar chart

Hello, We are using the Visual Studio version of CR, and are looking to upgrade to the Developer edition. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to plot a second data series on a bar chart that appears as a cross (or anything!) over the bars. These should also be using the same axis as the bars...

Issues with .NET version of Crystal Reports

LB, Many thanks for your reply. The advice regarding the Group section was spot on - that was exactly what I was looking for. In the version we have (.NET) there is no way to control the layout of the components of the chart within the chart object. It is not a font size issue, since the...

Issues with .NET version of Crystal Reports

Hi, We are pretty new to CR - we are currently using the version bundled with Visual Studio 2003. Our report is basically a set of about 6 un-related charts. We have made sub-reports for these and put them on a main report. The issues we have are as follows: 1 - Somtimes the title of a...

Print another document on reverse of paper using duplex

Hi, I'm sure this is an easy one. We print multi-page letters on single sides of paper. We have a set of "terms and conditions" (T&Cs) we print on the back of the first page of each letter. At the moment we pre-print paper with the T&Cs on the back and leave it in the printer. Ideally we...
