It's kind of hard to explain. The basic problem is that there seems to be no way to get a cusp node as you are in the process of drawing a shape with the bezier tool. You are limited to either straight or smooth nodes. Then you have to go back with the node editor to make a node a cusp after...- sp75

Is there a way to retract a bezier control handle as you are drawing a shape with the bezier tool or pen tool? For instance, in Illustrator and Freehand I can just click again on the current point I have just drawn and it will retract the leading control handle. So far I have not found a way to...- sp75
