Thanks for the suggestion. I actually took a look at the FAQ page here and it has the solution for the problem I was having. The ODBC DSN for my database was not set up as a system DSN so I just had to go into the ODBC Administrator and set it up as a system DSN and then everything worked...- solo77

I am also having this problem using an Oracle 8 database. The "Promt the user for new value(s) when viewing" checkbox is unchecked and the logon is correct but I still am prompted over and over for the login name and password. Thanks Randy- solo77
