Find out what the stripe segment size is on the drives on the Symmetrix and make sure that you correlate your volume stripeunit or stripe width to that segment size so that your I/O is is evenly distributed across your disks or raid set (s)
To my understanding the leadville driver only works with Qlogic (qlc) HBA's...Systems with Emulex, and or JNI HBA's will still have to be rebooted...The sd.conf file is only read at boot time....

Try using the netstat command to check for Inbound and

If you do have your correct nfs daemons running, check to
see whether the ( rpc.mountd ) process is running on the
remote server that you are exporting the filesystems from.
You may want to try to create a script file for each and
run the jobs seperately in cron. If you have both in the
same file it would run both at one time. The .netrc is
primarily for direct connection to the host you are want
to ftp to. Try this it worked for me...
