After much effort, I have found the solution to this problem: 1. Start Wordperfect 7. 2. When the error occurs, click & drage the error box out of the way. 3. Click Edit/Preferences/Files. 4. Change the Default Document Folder to say "C:\My Documents" 5. Click OK/Close. 6. Close the error...- sofemme
