Avaya 5.2 and SIP trunk to Broadsoft Unified Messaging

Has anyone managed to setup a SIP trunk to Broadsoft Unified Messaging? I have Avaya S8730 5.2, SES 5.0 and am looking to set up unified messaging using Broadsoft solution. Have successfully established SIP trunks between the two but need help with UM and MWI. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

SES on S8300- CM 5.2 to Flowroute SIP trunk

Yes you will need an SBC, sometimes it is provided by the vendor but for security you should have your own, ACME is recommended. There are helpful documents out there for configuring SIP trunks with different providers; Verizon, Global Crossing etc. Do a google search on "Application Notes for...

    Phantom calls

Try verifing if you have enough tone generators. "li meas tone sum today" will show if you have any failures. I am having the same problem (2 to 3 phantom calls a day) and the only issue I have found is that we are having DTMF and CC-TTR tone failures. Avaya hasn't been able to say if the two...

Program a 4 digit number to dial an international number

Not all the numbers are the same country code/area code, there are 3 different blocks. I've suggested speed dial as well as Abrv dialing but they want 4 digit extensions (no logical reason). I will try the UDP this morning. Thanks

Program a 4 digit number to dial an international number

Thanks for the quick response!About 40 numbers to start with but I'm sure there will be more. The numbers vary but there are small blocks with the same international, area code and prefix, one block would be 011-49-69-7167-7XXX. If I use the AAR would I have to create a different UDP code for...

Program a 4 digit number to dial an international number

I've been asked to create 4 digit extensions that will ring international numbers and have had a hard time finding detailed documentation. I have suggested System Abbreviated dial but they want extension numbers. I've found where I can use UDP/AAR and have a route pattern strip and replace...
