tinkertech, Try this fix, Select tools-->internet options-->Advanced, from the menu bar at the top of the browser window. Under Browsing, Check the box that is captioned "Disable Script Debugging" Click on "Apply" at the lower right of the dialog window. Click "Ok"...- sma4059

Scandisk at Startup
From the start button, select run, and type in msconfig. go to advanced, and you will find a number of options. One of them disables the automatic scan disc function.- sma4059
