That is the details lol, and when i disconnect all of my cables and reconenct it, then it works fine. Then it will do it again in a few months so i do the same thing and it seems to fix it.....
Yeah i do have Cmedia sound card, do u know where i can get the newest drivers for it?? and the windows files errors only happen like every few months and it fixes when i reconnect everyting... do u think it could be a bad cable or ram? something like that???
Ok, my computer runs fine but every now and again about once every 2-3 months i begin to get blue screens all the time as the computer is saying "preparing to start windows" of "loading your personal settings". I get an error with ntoskrnl.exe, win32k.sys, and kmixer.sys(exe)...

true, the computer doesnt know what size the moniter is. I'm saying that my moniter is older and pretty small, some gmaes require a certain size moniter and resolution, maybe my moniter cant get that high of resolution, or it is too small. I almost posative that it isnt the drivers b/c I have...
YEs, the moniter SHOULDNT care BUT, this a new game, i only have a 15in moniter, some games require a certain size moniter to run. and I think one of the pins in the connector my video card is broken off.
PS my video card shouldnt care since it is a Geforce4 mmx440 it should be ableto handle any...
I think maybe this problem has to do with my moniter? you know when u set your resolution to high on your desktop and the screen gets are garbbled and distorted it likes that? could it be that my moniter will not support the games resolution??
Well, fixed the problem for a bit, now I went to go test a game to see if it would work properly now and I got another blue screen saying DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL =\ im assuming this has to do with my Video driver? I already installed the latest drivers though??? any help?
Whenever I play a game with my newly installed Gefroce4 mx440 every now and again the screen will flash for a brief second, like a negative of all the colors on the screen. This nothing major just a bit annoying, can anyone tell me what is wrong?
Well, moved my modem to a difernt PCI slot so it wasnt on the same IRQ as my video card and it seems to be working fine since then. Ill let you all know if it changes and I wil ltry some of the other suggested things. Xemus this has happened with any game that requries alot of video processing...
