So when we're speaking of DID we're talking about a function of the Ericsson system then, and not a number series that is purchased by the Telco? I was assuming that we were talking about a PRI with a block of DID numbers assigned to it. My mistake. Thank you for clarifying.
Steve
We currently only have copper trunks coming into thw MD-110, no DID lines. Does the same rule apply, or would there be a different naming convention when you're not dealing with digital lines incoming.
Thanks for all the help,
Steve L.
I think the problem lies in the way my numbering plan is setup. (Or my lack of understanding thereof) I currently have only added 2 as an ED to the numbering plan. Is there another place that it should be added in order to allow calls from the PSTN to access the external destination? 126 is...

I'm in yet another conundrum and am hoping that someone out there can help me out. I've scoured the BC8 docs and just can't find the direction I need to be going on this one. I just hooked our Cisco PBX to the Ericsson of a company that we are merging with. TLU77/1 ISDN PRI connection. The...
Hello,
I've received some really useful information from this forum in the past and I'm hoping you can all help me out again. I've got a new ISDN tie line that I'm installing into our BC8 system. I'm having a problem with VARC however, the system keeps telling me that the value I'm using is...
We have 5 LIMS, but this brings up a question often asked by upper management; how would one recover from a disaster? Say there was a Tsunami and my California location with LIM3 was destroyed, would I have to start over from scratch in order to get my phone system back programmable and...
So would my best bet be to hook the LIM up at the main location via a tie line, and then bring the LIM back up remove grps, exts, etc, then drop the LIM?
Thanks,
Steve L
I think my staff may have made a major mistake in regards to our Ericsson system. We were recently demolishing one of our locations with a LIM, and they just cut the LIM loose and placed it in storage. Now they called to say that the ACD system is dropping calls. Has anyone experienced this...
The ICS is "Integrated Call System" Cisco's new turn key PBX solution. The MD will be connected to a T1 PRI voice interface on this system.
Thanks for all your help!
Steve
Hey all,
I'm working on connecting our Ericsson MD110 to a Cisco ICS. I'm not sure what card to use in the Ericsson however, I was thinking of using a TLU77/1, but I'm not sure if this is the best choice. We're on BC8, any help that you could offer would be greatly appreciated...
