Apache on Turbolinux 6 server
I am experimenting with a turbolinux 6 server on our internal network. I cannot assign it a FQDN, as we do not run DNS internally, Only WINS (we are behind a firewall, running NT 4.0) How do I get Apache to startup and deliver pages internally? Is there a way to bypass the need for the FQDN...- Skydog

Slowaris 8 x86?????
I am running Solaris 8 on an Intel box, and have not had any major issues with speed. On the other hand, I have been using win9x and winnt4 for the past few years, so molasses might run faster.
