Exchange 5.5 SP4 running on NT4 SP6a.
someone sent an abusive e-mail to our company's generic e-mail address. They're obviously an employee, sending from their home account.
We thought that odds are good that whoever owns that e-mail address likely sent messages back and forth between their...
While I haven't discovered the source of the problem yet, I *have* figured out how to circumvent it.
Doing a:
show local-host
revealed tons of IP addresses (clients) on the inside that didn't really exist. Apparantly, there is some virus or something causing IPs to be spoofed to gain...
K. Forget what I said.
I fought and fought to get PDM 3.0 working before finding out it was a Java issue. Been a while since I had to use it. *sigh*
Anyway, it turns out the 10 IKE Peer limitation is not the problem.
It's the 50-clients inside. Even though there are only 14 nodes...
We tried to do the same thing only site-to-site VPN. Cisco said it can't be done cuz traffic is basically coming in (via the tunnel) and going out (to the internet) on the same interface.
Your 515 should have a slot for a third interface. Or you proxy as ermora said, since traffic passes all...

We have a 515. Had five site-to-site tunnels coming into it. Installed a 3005 and moved two of the tunnels to it with the intention of eventually moving the other three.
We have our router uplink directly to a switch, to which both the PIX-515 and the 3005 connect. So they're...
I have several small branch offices doing site-to-site VPN tunnels. Three are doing PIX(501)-to-PIX(515) and seem to work fine.
Two are doing PIX(501)-to-3005 and have always done fine until recently.
The reason we want all the tunnels to terminate at the 3005 is because in the PIX-to-PIX...
Hey all:
We've been using Ghost for years with no problems. Because so many of our users require unique software builds, we Ghost each machine after we've gotten it all squeaky clean and running perfectly. Then we give it to the user and wait for them to destroy it. When they do, we load the...
PowerQuest's Server Magic is only for Netware. You have to use Volume Manager, unless it can be done off recovery disks. I haven't tried that, but I might see what happens.
PMLMIS:
I have the exact same issue and have resolved to reinstall. The only question I have for you is did you install over the top of the existing installation, or did you uninstall and reinstall?
Also, I have several other agents. Did those have to be reinstalled or...
hey, dmandell:
It's been nearly 4 months since your last post in this thread. Any chance you've found a resolution to this?
I'm having the exact same problem: Trying to get at the properties of a Public Folder through Exchange Admin generates:
The object cannot be found in the directory...
