Ok. So, if I'm on subnet 192.168.2.x/24 and I send a broadcast to 192.168.1.x/24, the router will send the broadcast to the 192.168.1.x/24 subnet.
But, I thought routers don't forward broadcasts.
How does a local broadcast differ from a directed broadcast?
255.255.255.255 vs. 192.168.0.255
I assume there is only one subnet connected to router interface. When would you need more than one subnet?
