I need to give someone a temporary root passwd. However I would like to log all commands they run and at what times they are executed. Has anyone a script that could do this or know of the best way to achieve it.

I desperately need to setup an FTP user that can on move from dir /ABC to /XYZ e.g /abc/xyz I cannot have them accessing any other part of the system.
I know how-to set them using useradd so that /XYZ is the initial login dir. How can I stop them from moving.

Here's the rest of the smb.conf (well the most relevant part(modified))

When trying to access a Samba share on my Sun Solaris box from a windows2000 computer I get the following error.
"The account is not authorised to login from this station"
The relevant section of my smb.conf looks like this

path = /apps/mydir/test/abc/new_dir...

Overpayments is the name of the printer and it's ip is in the hosts file. I can ping it from the command line that's what so strange.

The HP JetAdmin utility can ping the device. The problem may be:
* incorrect GET community name!
* it is not a network printer...
