Sharpie now makes a "Super Permanent Ink" pen. Look for item 13801. It has red markings on the label. I have a friend who turned me on to these. They are much better and don't fade in the first 6 months like the other ones do.
Brad:
Using the Assistant GUI, and if you have the engineering pwd or the priviledge in your own pwd, use the following path to monitor the PRI:
Diagnostics>Switch Diagnosis Report>Realtime Diagnosis : It takes a bit to load and wait for a login screen to appear.
Login to a new session using...
If you are speaking within the realm of the Hipath, then you will need to follow the route begininning with the DNIT (ACD number) and through the associated ACDRS-RS ACDRS-DS, and ACDART. Then begin deletion of them in the reverse order, lastly deleting the DNIT, which will then be available for...
You can import .wav files from the Xpressions voicemail into your p.c. by going into the xpressions gui: http//xpressions/. That will bring up a screen that you type in your telephone extension and your voicemail password. From there you can go to the mail client inbox. Flyover the message you...
Hey all: I've been involved with Siemens/IBM/Rolm products for over 20 years and the evolution into server based architecture and the IP solutions have created a large information knowledge base that is much too huge for any field tech to manage. From the early Rolms to IBMs, the software and...
With a call established, press the "-" key to lower the volume on the handset. Then simultaneously press the "+" and the "-" keys. That sets the volume to that level for subsequent use. It's a bit tricky to press them at the same time, but that's how its done.
Sounds like you're on multiple floors and that homerun cabling from the telephone jack back to the PBX MDF is out of the question. So, you'll need to install single cables that incorporate multiple pairs (or "riser" cables) between each floor's IDF backboard in the wiring closet back to the MDF...
XPR: Don't know much about the "mobility on" issue, but in assistant, go to Stations, put the number you seek in the search field and once search is done look at the Key System tab, I think you'll see the other stations which have the number in question configged on them.
Hope that helps.
Thanks, hotwalker, for the tip. And although there was quite a process outlined in the Siemens docs, I did need to get their local tech onsite. She had done this many times prior, but me never. Now I could again if need be.
One of the 9006.6 machines we have needs to have its network addresses changed. I can't seem to find the method in the manuals. Also can't get on the Siemens BLS website since late last year for any help that might there either.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Somehow the emergency mode menu and greetings aren't in the default Voice menus list and I can't change any in the list to be "0" (thinking this was necessary as the book says the recordings are both "0"). It (the system when I tried to change them in BUI) says I can only name them 1-16. I can...
Don't know for sure what the Hicom 340 you reference is, but when connecting to the Hicom 300s using Procomm, it sometimes takes a double hit on the enter key to get the login prompt.
Hope that helps.
