Thanks for the feedback. The unit has Startalk Flash voice mail - but the documentation just says ICS4.0 . Dont know if its MICS or CICS - but it looks like this...
We have an ICS 4.0 system with 2 channels and 16 handsets and has 4 analog lines coming in. We are installing a T1 line in the office and I wondered if this norstar can be upgraded to plug in a T1 line? (fractional) - what do I need to add to the unit? if at all?
Thanks
Did you set the minimum heap size for the application? and maximum? Too many threads in JVM 1.4.1 is a known limitation - you need a newer JVM with non blocking IO - apparently recently release
Well I plugged in the Startalk (port 2) into an active port on the CICs (confirmed working extension) - but alas after reboot (power down cics) it still says feature 9** are invalid features - Is there something in admin of CICS that would enable seeing the Flash unit?
Thanks now the mystery is a bit more solved - but I now have a quandry, there were 2 rj11 cables coming out of the two ports when it was connected at the other office - one port marked 2 the other marked 4 - you say that only one should be connected to the amphenol - which one? and what is the...
Oh boy - thanks for the help, indeed there is a hinged cover on the whole thing, which I have opened, but there is nothing else beneath that cover that can be removed other than the PCMCIA card, without unscrewing or breaking something. There is a removable plastic cover plate that has 2 written...
I am a bit confused, My Startalk Flash unit has no upper anything that is removable, there are 2 rj11 sockets and there were 2 cables coming out of these 2 jacks that were plugged into the old amphenol connector at the old office. Thats why I assume its a 4 port. There is a PCMCIA card plugged...
Hitting feature 903 or 9*3 still gives invalid feature. I think the old set up was also 3 digit DN's as well, so I dont think that is the problem. I am trying westcoasters cold boot process (when you say 'four port module' I assume you mean the PCMCIA card) suggestion. The system came with 16...
Pulled out a Norstar CICs system and startalk flash from another office. reconnected the Startalk Flash to the CICS and when I now hit feature 983 I get an invalid feature message.! The Startalk RJ connectors are connected to the last two station ports on the amphenol connector, and the light is...
Does anyone know if ACT has a JDBC driver? i.e. if its an SQL ODBC compliant database underneath, is there an jdbc/odbc bridge out there? or will I have to write one?
Thanks for the link.
Well I frankly got so frustrated that I went back to basics. I had done an 'upgrade' from win98 to 2k which likely was the problem. A reformat of hard drive, clean install of win2000 and then install EXACTLY the same browser and hey presto the problem has gone. I luv...
I have a Windows 2000 Professional box, running Internet Explorer 6 - 6.0.2800.1106 - If I go to my trusty hotmail inbox or my.yahoo.com or finance.yahoo.com - IE6 just shuts down with no warning.
Several other pages on other sites cause this as well. I just upgraded from Win98 to 2000 and it...
Ok well I dont think that it is an Asus motherboard - but the problem is definitely TCPIP related. I ran a boot and created bootlog.txt and the guilty party is the MSTCP loading. It takes 61 seconds average to load this driver (thanks for suggestion jmatt - a great tool). The Microsoft TCPIP...
