Ok. I figured it out, thanks to our friends at chicagotech.net. This is an issue with the authentication method of the Remote Desktop Connection 6 in windows Vista. For some reason it fails when it prompts you for your credentials prior to logging on. You can disable the extra security features...- SICSPerry
