I have two web servers running Server 2003 R2 configured in an NLB cluster connecting to an SQL 2000 backend. When I am in the application and I drop the server I am on I am dynamically redirected however my application logs me off and I have to start over. There should be a method to continue...
Hello
I have just set up a Citrix solution with two published applications. At my company we use multiple monitors on every system because we are in the trading business. One of the Apps works best with Seamless windows but unfortunately when I open it seamless I am unable to move the app to...
Yeah it is odd. Checked the mac addresses right when it happend. Found an area in Suse with a check box that says update host name through DHCP. Once that was unchecked it didn't happen again. Though I had already created a reservation for it under it's mac so it couldn't possibly happen again...
Hello
I just installed Suse 9.3 on a box with nothing else. Did install using all default settings. Odd thing happend. Couldn't get it to get DHCP. Brought down the interface and back up. Suddenly one of my users on a Windows box lost his network connection. Didn't think much of that and...
This occurs because AD thinks that the user still has a mailbox associated with it. Go in to AD Users and computers and right click the user select Exchange Tasks and select remove exchange attributes. Wait about 2 minutes and then you can reconnect the user. This is happening every day with two...
I have installed secure path as well but that did'nt seem to change anything. Is there any special configuration for secure path as far as you know of? Thanks
Also I did evict the old server from the cluster. Then I joined the new server to the cluster. In cluster managment it shows the drives as resources for the old server but nothing in resources for the new server.
The adapter is a Compaq Storageworks RA4000 controller. It's not new it's the same one that was always there. There are two for redundancy. I would think it would of held its config information. I can see the drives in device manager. Just not in disk management or windows explorer. Thanks for...
Might be a good place to start. The thing is nothing has changed except this one server. The ports, switch, san, and other server are all configured as they used to be. Unfortunately this cluster is extremely mission critical so I can't really modify any settings except on the newly rebuilt...
Hello everyone. I have a two Proliant DL 580's connecting through a Fiber Channel switch to a SAN. The two servers are clustered. I rebuilt one of the servers the other day and now it cannot connect to the SAN. The other server connects and gets its usual drive mappings but the newly rebuilt one...
Hey everyone I have two Win2k advanced server machines connecting to a compaq san device. I had to rebuild one and rejoin it to the cluster but now it does not receive its drive mappings even know it sees the san. The drive mappings were never manually created. They are supposed to automatically...
Oh I did'nt realize it needed to be installed on the BE server. I thought it was similiar to the remote agent and was installed on the SQL server. I will load it right away on the BE server. Thanks again Bill
We do own the license for the SQL agent and its in my license list when I go to install remote options. Odd part is when I select it and click next it lists Remote Agent for NT/2000 servers as the option. I would think it should list it specifically as the SQL remote agent. I saw that everyone...
