Make sure the comma is used between the number and the code. The system will not generate DTMF on the call until after the pause.

Check the mouse settings. Make sure the pointer is not set on Snap To. It could be snapping automatically to the incoming window because the software queues that window up so a key stroke will activate.

The MCK is not technically supported on the IP Office. I have, however, managed to get a few working. They have all come from a Definity environment, previous to the IP Office install, and we used existing 6408/6416 sets. If you are trying 44xx series phones they probably will not ever work...
Also remember the drivers for the dongle (parallel and usb) are not supported on Windows 7 or Server 2008. You will need an XP Pro or Server 2003 machine.

The customer finally looked at both sides of the VPN and found the far-end still had H323 and H225 inspection maps enabled. They disabled them and the calls started working correctly.

I have had luck just entering the extension number under the user button. It seems to work. That way you don't have to go and change buttons on remote systems every time you change a name.

If you want to try something before uninstalling, blank out the account info, and set the server to localhost. It is populating the field with cached information. It may work for you and actually stop the SMTP operation.
