1-create image.data file w/mkszfile 2-edit /image.data, change ppsize in vg_data stanza 3-create mksysb WITHOUT generating new image.data (mksysb /dev/rmt0 or whatever. in smit say NO to "generate new image file" question 4-restore mksysb image
