Easy way to program Time of Day in vectors

The way we used to do it (when we had CM3) was to call a "common vector" that did all the out-of-hours processing... so the 20+ vectors would all have a step in that called the "are we closed" vector which after some simple time-of-day checks would either play "sorry we are closed" and...

    MXEE Install

Hi TDMoIP Got exactly the same setup here (MXEE 2 running on a CM 5.2.1 system) - I went for AAR as although got the off-pbx working fine, I read a couple of posts that said people could only get it working to a maximum number of call presentations on the off-pbx station - doing it via aar just...

    External Forwarding from a Vector

No problemo - just didn't thinks vectors work that way - never got that working myself - Basically, I've found that if you "route to number" in a vector I've only had it go to the next step if the route-to failed (e.g. you put in your route-to external number and there were no external lines -...

    External Forwarding from a Vector

Have you considered "Remote Coverage" - it's been a while since I set it up on our system (and we now use vectors but that's another story!)... Basically you point your DDI direct at the group and then set a cover path up to a remote / off-pbx number - such as a cell phone... I have a niggling...

H323 trunk to IP Office 403

Right, have found a 2010 (in former said dusty cupboard) and can confirm that POTS/IP phones and Digital phones on CM can "talk" quite happily to POTS or Digital (2010) phones on the 403DT - i.e. get 2 way speech...

H323 trunk to IP Office 403

All :-) Have tried IP (4610 & 4620), Digital (6408) and just a plain old POTS - that's why I was so confused - it *shouldn't* work but it does - maybe is something to do with "as long as it's not another IPO on the other end" (never really looked into H.323 setup messages that much)

H323 trunk to IP Office 403

Ah - there's a thought - I just use a POTS phone as had one handy - I'm just going to dig out a digitial phone (think got some 2010's about)

H323 trunk to IP Office 403

mines 3.0(580) as well... wonder if it will only work from a CM platform then? (really can't see why as it *should* just be a standard H.323 trunk - but then again, we all know about standards don't we)

H323 trunk to IP Office 403

Hi Westi Guess it has to be a "DT" version then - there must be "something magical inside" (aka some basic IP/TDM briding) as amriddle01 got exactly the same findings as me - will be intrested to see TomMills's results (going to put the magical "workload dependant" disclaimer in here but if...

H323 trunk to IP Office 403

    Westi - it's definitly a 403DT isn't it?

H323 trunk to IP Office 403

Cool - no worries... Maybe SCN is the issue - my 403DT is just setup as a plain old H.323 IP Trunk (although not sure on amriddle01's setup when he managed to replicate my findings) - if not, sort of pours water on my bonfire - back to the drawing board as to why on earth I can get 1 way calling!...

H323 trunk to IP Office 403

Ok think amriddle01 has already tried that - where have you pulled the VCM from - the 406 or 403DT (indeed, does the 403DT have a VCM in it)... What I suspect is that as long as something is talking to the 403DT via an IP trunk, the 403DT will get a speech path - if you've pulled the VCM out the...

H323 trunk to IP Office 403

Hi TomMills If it is a 403 DT then.... sort-of... (Indeed, think amriddle01 would confirm that - see his previous posts) - Ok, I'm trunking from CM 3.1.5 but guess that should be largely irrelivant as it is just a H.323 trunk (and in my case using 64K ALAW 20ms packets) - you definitly get...

H323 trunk to IP Office 403

Well at least it is consistant then - guess downer on my side as lowers any potential value on eBay (as it's not unique) ;-) - has to be something to do with how things are internally bridged then I guess - I really can't explain it otherwise - still, as it's only going to be used for an...
