    RDP doesn't work over PPTP

Still no luck even after using DRTCP to reduce MTU down to 1400. I also tried the registry tweak to set the MTU at 1400 for PPTP protocol.

Windows won't use DNS settings from it's PPTP client.

If you setup WINS, you should be able to ping the servers by their netbios name. Also, have you tried to ping your servers via their fqdn ie. server1.domainname.com?

FullDuplex on Cisco 2500 Ethernet port??

Cisco ethernet port is connected to a Netscreen 5GT vpn/firewall, which can do 10/100 full duplex. Thanks for the info! With the fast eth module on the cisco router, does anyone see an issue with having an outside switch infront of my Netscreen firewall? My firewall does have the capability...

FullDuplex on Cisco 2500 Ethernet port??

I'm not sure whether the 10baseT ethernet port on my 2500 router is capable of full duplex. When I go into config int eth, it doesn't even give me fullduplex option. Can someone confirm this for me? I know my T1 serial interface is capable of full duplex, I'm guessing my ethernet port is a...

Help with 802.1q on Catalyst 2900XL

If I create VLAN trunks between the switches, does that mean I'll have to configure multiple VLANs? My current assumption from the posting is that I can go ahead and configure L2 priority queing for the ports I'm going to use for my SIP phones with out use of vlans. If I understand Kurt...
