I see what you are saying now. I don't know if there is a way to setup a VPN through a dial-up. Any setup that I normally work with is a choice between VPN or dial-up. And the VPN connections that I use are through DSL with remote access from dial-up modems. Sorry I could not be more help.

I know in XP, by creating a new connection, I am able to connect to my 2000 server through a Remote Desktop Connection. This came built in the XP operating system so it was at no extra cost.
